Your World in My Eyes

folly-2

I was standing on a hill when the world started to curl in on itself

Or is it my first 360 Pano planet, and I’m very proud, this was one of the reasons I bought the Nodal ninja panorama head. Though I thought I was  going to need additional software to achieve this effect. Fortunately Austrian Alex over on Flickr had posted the necessary instructions ot complete this using CS3. And I’m very proud of my first attempt. Yeah it could use some cloning to even out the sky and the ground. Additionally I didn’t include Apex and Nadir shots which would improve it more, but still I can’t wait to get out and do a multi stacked pano.

    folly-100302

Not exactly my garden wall, but on a walk around Yorkshire  a few years ago, I saw these beautiful dry stone walls divinding the green fields.

Notes: This was taken with my trusty 20D shot in raw at 1/250 f5.6, Iso 200 at 64mm with my 24-70 2.8l lens I remember it was a  super bright day and the trouble was keeping the sky from blowing out. I’ve done a little post in lightroom including adding a neutral density  layer.

    el capitan no more

The captain must have been hitting the bottle, because he’s looking worse for  wear. What used to be a cinema is now a carpark . At least parking lots are always in demand, the question is, is paradise still under the paving

Where have all the flowers gone?

Where have all the flowers gone?

Walking with the dog on Bernal heights on Saturday, the hill was looking somewhat dried out and starting to become infested with the pea plants (time for the low green society to get to work).  Looking back to how the hill looked in spring it was a vastly different vista with california poppies and yellow wild flowers galore.

    wtf funny bunny

Today I decided in a moment of clarity, to go in search of clarity and took the sky light filters off all my lens’.  No more vignetting for me at those wide open settings. Eager to see the world as it really is and not through a skylight I saw this coming down the road, a side saddle bunny on a Puch moped……and that really clarified things for me.
